The standard fees charged by my practice, is in line with the Australian Medical Association’s (AMA) recommended fee schedule. This could mean that in certain instances there will be a ‘GAP’ between the surgical fee and what is covered by Medicare and your health insurance fund. For certain surgical procedures we also have a “known gap” arrangement with participating health funds, which can reduce you’re out of pocket expenses
When you are booked in for a procedure you will be provided with a written estimate by the Reception staff. My staff are fully informed with charges and rebates and will be able to help you navigate through what can be a complex process.
